Ray Sterling教授,国际地下空间联合研究中心(ACUUS)前主席

报告题目:Learning from Successful(and Unsuccessful)Past Examples of Underground Space Use(世界地下空间利用案例借鉴)

简介:Dr. Sterling is a Professor Emeritus at Louisiana Tech University. From1995 to2009 he was the Contractors’ Educational Trust Fund Professor of Civil Engineering and Director of the Trenchless Technology Center at Louisiana Tech University. Previously, from1977 to1995, he was the founding director of the Underground Space Center at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Sterling received a B.Eng degree in civil and structural engineering from the University of Sheffield in1970. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Minnesota in1975 and1977. He is a Past Chairman of the International Society for Trenchless Technology and the North American Society for Trenchless Technology. He is a Past President of the Associated research Centers for Urban Underground Space (ACUUS), past Vice Chairman of the Committee on Underground Space of the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association, Past Chairman of the U.S. National Committee on Tunneling Technology, and a Past Animateur for the International Tunnelling Association’s Working Group on Direct and Indirect Advantages of Underground Structures. In2003, he received the Stephen D. Bechtel Pipeline Engineering Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers. In2009, he received the Gold Medal from the International Society for Trenchless Technology for outstanding contributions to the field and in2014 he was awarded honorary fellow status in ACUUS. He has authored approximately200 books, technical papers and reports on a wide range of topics related to underground space use, underground construction, geomechanics and trenchless technology and from1996 to2015 served as a Senior Editor of the international journal Tunnelling and Underground Space Technology. He is registered engineer in Minnesota and is a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Until his retirement from the university in2009, he was a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Structural Engineers and the Royal Society for Arts, Manufacture and Commerce. He has recently served on the International Advisory Committee for the Singapore Ministry of National Development and has been a consultant for several underground space planning initiatives in Singapore and Hong Kong.

简介:钱七虎,江苏昆山人,先后毕业于哈尔滨军事工程学院和莫斯科古比雪夫军事工程学院,中国工程院首届院士。中共十二大代表、全国政协第八、九、十届政协委员;现任军委科技委顾问,陆军工程大学教授、博士生导师;国际岩石力学学会原副主席、会士,国际城市地下空间联合研究中心会士,中国岩石力学与工程学会原理事长。主持完成了《21世纪中国城市地下空间发展战略及对策》等国家咨询课题;编写了《高等防护结构计算理论》等著作;科技成果获得国家科技进步一、二、三等奖各一项。

报告题目:超长海底隧道及沿海地下空间开发经验与展望——国内最长现役胶州湾海底隧道(7.8km)、拟建最长公路海底隧道(15.8km)及沿海地下道路(20km)

简介:曲立清总工程师,1990年毕业于上海同济大学,工作二十余年来,始终坚守在重大工程一线,专注于工程专业技术工作,参与了青岛市多数重特大工程项目建设,为城市建设做出了重大贡献。组织完成了青岛女姑口跨海大桥的施工方案设计、施工及监控;在青岛胶州湾跨海大桥工程项目建设办公室任副主任、总工程师,负责青岛海湾大桥工程技术管理工作;作为主要技术负责人修建了我国最长的海底隧道——青岛胶州湾海底隧道工程;是拟建青岛第二海底隧道的总负责人。

How The Institutions Shape The Spaces Beneath The New World Trade Center District in New York City (纽约新世贸中心地下空间的形成)

简介:

Alex Marshall is a journalist and author and has written, spoken and thought about the systems that make up our cities for more than two decades. His three books include Beneath the Metropolis: The Secret Lives of Cities (Perseus2006), which is about the underground spaces and systems below12 great cities around the world. His other books are How Cities Work: Suburbs Sprawl and the Roads Not Taken (University of Texas200), which will soon be available in Mandarin; and The Surprising Design of Market Economies (Texas2012), which is about the physical and legal infrastructure of countries and how that shapes their economies. In addition to writing books, Marshall writes articles, which have appeared in The New York Times, Bloomberg View, Metropolis Magazine, Architecture, The Washington Post and many other publications. He is a regular columnist for Governing Magazine on the subjects of infrastructure and economic development. Marshall began his career as a journalist as a daily news reporter at The Virginian-Pilot newspaper. Marshall’s honors include being awarded a Loeb Fellowship at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, as well as The German-Marshall Fund European Community Fellowship for the study of the European city and suburb. He holds a masters degree in journalism from Columbia University in New York City, and a bachelors in political economy and Spanish from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh. He has taught at courses about the history and theory of infrastructure at the Graduate School of Architecture at The New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, New Jersey. He is a native of Norfolk, Virginia. He is currently a Senior Fellow at the urban planning group, The Regional Plan Association in New York City. Johan Visser works at the Kennisinstituut voor Mobiliteitsbeleid (Netherlands Institute for Transport Policy Analysis) at the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment and participates in the Transport and Mobility Research Group of Faculty of Civil Engineering, Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.In2001, Johan Visser finished his thesis in cooperation with Arjan van Binsbergen with the title Innovation Steps Towards Efficient Goods Distribution for Urban Areas. The thesis was based on research on consolidation of goods flows in urban goods transport and innovative transport systems like underground freight transport.Expertise and interestsInfrastructure planning with a focus on economic and technical issues, such as freight transport innovation, economic and spatial impacts of new infrastructure, seaport and airport planning and cost-benefit analysis. 简介:Dr. Najafi has more than30 years of experience encompassing engineering, educational, research, consulting, and management activities. Prior to starting his academic career, Dr. Najafi spent more than13 years working on various construction projects. Dr. Najafi is the author of several books on trenchless technology and asset management. As Director of the Center for Underground Infrastructure Research and Education (CUIRE) at the University of Texas at Arlington, Dr. Najafi has led many research projects with more than $3M of funding secured competitively from funding agencies such as WaterRF, WERF, and TRB. Dr. Najafi is a renowned international expert in pipeline engineering and trenchless technology and has been a frequent invited keynote speaker at national and international conferences. Under his direction, a new Master of Construction Management (MCM) was instituted at the University of Texas at Arlington. Dr. Najafi has also extensive administrative and management experience of research activities gained through his position as Director of CUIRE. Dr. Najafi is an active member of ASCE, ASTM, AWWA, and NASTT. He has served as the Chair of ASCE Pipeline Division Executive Committee and was the Chair of ASCE Pipelines2013 conference. He is also the Chief-Editor of ASCE Journal of Pipeline Systems Engineering and Practice. Dr. Najafi is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas.

报告题目:Underground Space Implementation in Compact Urban Coastal Cities – Planning for the Future(紧凑型沿海城市的地下空间实施 –未来规划)

简介:Mark is a Director in Arup’s Hong Kong office and has over28 years experience in the field of Engineering Geology, Underground Space and Tunnelling related projects. He has carried out Project Management on various infrastructure projects from large scale MTR and HK Government projects to local private as well as regional scale studies. He has led teams of specialists in Tunnelling, Engineering Geology, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Geotechnical work in Hong Kong and the East Asia region. He has been in Asia for over22 years and has worked in various countries in the region from China, Philippines, Vietnam, South Korea, Thailand and Singapore advising on underground projects as well as ground based risks for projects. He has led various rock cavern and urban underground development studies in the territory with direct involvement of planners, engineers, economists, legal, fire and environmental specialists for the identification, with Hong Kong Government, of strategic planning and approaches to many types of underground space in the city. He has also been involved in underground space studies in Singapore. Prior to setting up home in Asia he worked in Arup in the UK and was involved in Limestone and Salt mines investigations in the West Midlands and in Northern Ireland. Mark was the Project Manager for the Long Term Strategy for Rock Cavern Development in Hong Kong as well as the Territory Wide Study on Urban Underground Space in Hong Kong. These projects sought to identify strategies, approaches and policy initiatives to facilitate future underground space development to provide a sustainable source of land supply while also providing better connectivity and improved amenities in existing areas of the city.

Eivind Grøv(挪威专家,参与世界最长海底隧道——rogfast海底隧道建设)

Grøv is now Chief Scientist at SINTEF and Professor in his fields at NTNU lecturing/supervising students at MSc and PhD levels. He has been invited lecturer and keynote speaker on several international conferences with a large publication production.

Grøv is past President of the Norwegian Tunnelling Society and a Honorary member of the society, he is past President of the Norwegian Tunnelling Network. He is past Vice President of ITA concluding a period of6 years in the Executive Council and a Honorary Affiliate Member of ITA. Grøv has held numerous duties in international organisations and is currently Animateur of ITA Working Group on“The use of sprayed concrete”. He also leads several tasks within the Norwegian Tunnelling Society.
